Hello everyone. Well I have done it. I have fallen to the great thing we know as peer pressure You see alot of photographers do a lil contest at the end of the year, post pics, people vote…that sorta thing. I have always NOT done it because I didnt want to hurt anyones feelings…but after much persuasion….Here it is. The 2009 End of the Year Contest….(yes i know its already feb 2010…shhshhs)

Okay, so I had three people that have no stake in this what so ever go through thousands of images from 2009 and pick out their favorites. No reason why they are the favs, No set rules just pick out ones that you instantly love. SO here are 20, yes ONLY 20 out of thousands!!! I think they did a great job, I love all of these, there are hundreds and hundreds more that I love as well, SOOOOOO please noone get upset if your lil one isnt in this group! You know YOU have the cutest lil ones around and that I love them all!!

OK, so all you have to do is leave a comment below with the number of your favorite image. We will do the contest until next Saturday night at midnight and the winner will be announced Sunday morning~in the past we have had trouble with comments, if yours wont post please email me instead at mjphoto@comcast.net

OHH forgot to say….you can have as many of your friends and family vote, only one vote per person!

The image with the most comments will win at 16×26 gallery wrap canvas of the image  plus a free session during the month of Feb or March!

Second and third place, both will receive a free session for Feb or March!!

Even though its a complete winter wonderland outside right now it is time to announce our Spring Mini Sessions~

A while back I asked you to email me any suggestions, comments or just whatever you wanted to see here at MJPhoto and one of the biggest requests was for more mini sessions. SO…ask and you shall receive!!!

Our first one will be Saturday March 6th. It will be located at our studio in East Nashville, all indoors. Each session will be 20 minutes for up to two children ($25 for each additionial), very simple and timeless and will focus on capturing a timeless portrait (fun but timeless) Trust Me!!

These minis will be offered in two different ways…choose which is best for you!

$295=session and a 11×14 print

or

$795= session and a disc with 10-20 images for printing.

You will be given high res files to print up to 5×7 prints and to archive.

These are both greatly discounted and are a great way to capture your babes without a full session. I plan to do at least three this year, they WILL book up fast so please dont hesitate to book your time!

We will start Saturday at 10am! You must know which package you would like to do when booking and fees are due at this time to hold your spot.

Im excited to have all of you in the loft, we are redecorating and adding lots of goodies for you to touch and feel!

Welll…..as most of you have noticed, Im sure. Our blog has been totally MIA for a week or two. After some lovely person hacked into it and made it crazy, along with my site, we thought we had it fixed …and….well we didnt! So for now its working!! IF there is anyone out there who had trouble with their computer bc of our site………….i am soooo soooo sooo sorry! I just hate that some meany did this! Just wanted to post really quick and see if I remembered how  These two super adorable babes are so dear to me. I have photographed them for years and I just love them. And they love me too…which always makes for a great time together and of course beautiful portraits!!

 

 a while back i shared this sweet lil one week old angel, i then went back and captured her amazingly beautiful older siblings. these three kiddos are very close to my heart and i love them like my own! they could be some of the most photogenic babes ever and i know they are some of the sweetest.

there are those days in life where you look at things differently. small things mean more. sweet lil words will forever be captured in your heart. those lil shy smiles slip away..capturing them with photographs and having your own family in that piece of art..its priceless! today i feel grateful for the talents and opportunites God has given me and that i can offer to my clients. Photographs can freeze a moment in your life, moments that are so fleeting!

We are offering a Februrary special… we dont offer these too often. But a few weeks ago I asked you to send in your suggestions for MJStudio in 2010 and IM listening!! We will be trying to offer everything you suggested.
